Successful conference CADforum 2015 on CAD/CAM/PDM

Last week, CAD Studio has hosted the traditional user conference - CADforum 2015 - dedicated to manufacturing industry, to CAD/CAM and PDM technologies. The 12th year of the CADforum conference was held in Brno, Czech Rep. This event, a platform for exchanging experience and inspiration among users of CAD/CAM/CAE and PDM/PLM applications, was attended by more than 230 professionals from Czechia and Slovakia.

Both the discussions to the individual presentations and the popular Q&A session have confirmed deep interest of all visitors in practical issues and technological innovations.

CADforum visitors had chance to win prizes in Inventor modeling competition "InventorCup" - see the assignment and solution - video. Attendees had also chance to try out the latest HP, Canon and Epson plotters, interactive smart boards for electronic communication, CAM software, 3D mice and 3D printers, or fast Citrix-virtualized Inventor on PC, iPad and MacBook.

The award in the "CAD for innovators" competition (a part of the Autodesk Cleantech Partner program) was given out during the conference. This program was opened for Czech and Slovak inventors and innovators with interesting projects helping to improve life quality and environment. The award goes to the company Rada Building with its unique flexible sustainable building Cell Dome employing environment-friendly technologies. They have received 5 licenses of Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2016.
