Annual 'CADforum 2014' conference with record number of attendees

Last week, CAD Studio has hosted the traditional user conference - CADforum 2014 - dedicated to manufacturing industry, to CAD and PDM technologies. The 11th year of the CADforum conference was held in Brno, Czech Rep. This event, a platform for exchanging experience among users of CAD/CAM/CAE and PDM/PLM applications, was attended by almost 250 professionals from Czechia and Slovakia.

Both the discussions to the individual presentations and the popular Q&A session have confirmed deep interest of all visitors in practical issues and technological innovations. Full 100% of those who filled up the survey plan to attend also the next year of the conference.

CADforum visitors had chance to win prizes in Inventor modeling competition "InventorCup" - see the assignment and solution - video. Attendees had also chance to try out the latest HP plotters and workstations, interactive boards for electronic communication, CAM software, 3D mice and 3D printers.

The award in the "CAD for innovators" competition (a part of the Autodesk Cleantech Partner program) was given out during the conference. This program was opened for Czech and Slovak inventors and innovators with interesting projects helping to improve life quality and environment. The award goes to the Czech company ZLKL with its unique vehicle for handicapped - ELBEE - which can be driven directly from a wheelchair. They have received 5 licenses of Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2015.
